Handy dandy  
Bought on impulse to maybe give as a gift but decided to keep it when I saw how cute it was. The size is just right (one that I already have is bigger) but the display is still large and clear enough without taking up much space. All the details are displayed so you can get a quick read of time (atomic so no need to adjust) day date weather trend in and out temps and barometric pressure (rising or dropping) and moon phase. And the price was right too (bought on sale) : 2010-09-15 11:45:21

Inaccurate temp; atomic clock wont sync  
I bought this product to replace my "Oregon Scientific BAR933HGA Message Weather Station" which recently stopped working. I was completely satisfied with my old model: atomic clock always precise inside and outside temps always accurate. The "weather forecast" wasnt really accurate but I didnt expect it to be considering it uses only barometric pressure humidity and temperature trends to "forecast".

When I bought this replacement I was basically only looking for two things: an outside temperature monitor and an accurate atomic clock. I am thoroughly disappointed considering I got neither. The base unit measures the inside temperature in my home pretty accurately however the remote unit consistently reports the outside temperature 4 or 5 degrees higher than it actually is. I have the remote in exactly the same spot as my previous one (which was accurate). Its about 4 feet off the ground and in the shade (as it should be). Weather info wrong outside temp off atomic clock not working  
The very reason you buy this is to have atomic clock outside temp and weather info. It frequently tells me outside is raining when there is no rain in sight. Outside temp is inaccurate and very slow to respond Atomic clock show no signal. I have La Cross brand it is much better. : 2010-09-15 11:45:21

overrated  
I have to agree with other negative reviewers that the product only functions as an indoor-outdoor thermometer. The graphic weather predictions are only right by coincidence although the animation is cute. And the atomic clock is useless unless you live within 900 miles or the national radio server which I dont. Apparently some other self setting clocks dont have this limitation. : 2010-09-15 11:45:21
